Letter To A Black Girl
Celebrating the voices, stories and achievements of Black British women.
About the Podcast
Letter To A Black Girl is a podcast celebrating the voices, stories and achievements of Black British women.
Founded and hosted by actress Gloria Onitiri, the podcast creates a space where Black British women can be seen, heard and celebrated beyond the conversations that so often define public discussions around race.
Through intimate conversations, poetry and reflection, guests share their journeys, their triumphs and the letters they would write to their younger selves—creating moments of honesty, healing and connection.

A Note From Gloria
When I created Letter To A Black Girl, I wanted to create the kind of conversations I longed to hear growing
up - ones where Black British women could speak openly about their journeys, their triumphs, challenges
and the wisdom
they would pass on.
Every episode is an invitation to listen, reflect and recognise the richness of our stories. My hope is that these
conversations become letters not only to our younger selves, but to every listener who needs to know they are
seen, capable and never alone.
Thank you for listening.
