I've always believed that stories have the power to change us.

My relationship with storytelling began long before I realised it could become a career.

My mum often says I sang before I spoke. Looking back, I think she was right. From an early age, I was always creating, imagining and finding ways to express myself through music, poetry and performance.

When I was twelve, I won my school's poetry competition with a poem I wrote called Mind the Gap. At fourteen, I joined the National Youth Music Theatre. By seventeen, I was making my professional stage debut in The Lion King.

Those moments weren't the beginning of my story - they were simply milestones on a path I was already walking.

For more than two decades, I've continued telling stories through theatre, music, film and television. Along the way, my work has expanded into coaching, mentoring, writing and hosting Letter to a Black Girl - each one another way of connecting with people through creativity.

Today, I'm continuing to develop my work across film, television, writing and new creative projects, always exploring the stories that bring us closer to one another.

Whatever the medium, my purpose remains the same:

To tell stories that connect, inspire and stay with us long after the final curtain falls.
