MY APPROACH
My teaching begins with the individual.
I am interested in what is real - the instinct, voice, experience and perspective that already exist within you. I don't believe there is one right way to perform, communicate or tell a story. The work is about discovering what is truthful for you.
Sometimes that means getting out of our own way. Surrendering to the moment. Releasing judgement. Allowing things to be messy, unexpected and organic rather than trying to force them into what we think they should be.
I believe everyone has something to say. My role is not to make you into someone else, but to help you trust what is already there - and find the freedom to express it.
Because before we can truly reach another person, we have to be willing to accept ourselves.
EXPERIENCE
My teaching is informed by my experience as a working performer across theatre, music and screen, alongside years of teaching singers and actors in individual sessions, workshops and masterclasses. I have taught at Associated Studios, where I am also a Patron, working with performers at different stages of their development.

Sessions are available online via Zoom, with in-person teaching available by arrangement. Sessions are tailored to the individual and can be shaped around a specific goal, ongoing development or preparation for a particular opportunity.
